Specially chosen by Nike to represent London in a workshop, to design a ‘London Air Max’. I chose a silhouette that is popular in London and the colours and materials used on the trainer, is based on the concept on having to be noticed in the competitive city of London. Driven by being noticed, I used colours seen on hi-vis jackets as well darker colours that are commonly seen on building work such as scaffolding, a supportive structure that helps hold a vast amount of London’s buildings together.
